 Texture - Pencil

I began testing new textures I could make using a graphite pencil in my sketchbook. I found that with a mixture of thick and thin lines, textures become more interesting. 

I also practised drawing with straight lines as felt I needed to improve on this skill. 

In my next post I will practise in the same way but with fine liner pens.
