I read a Landscape architecture journal in the library to find inspiration and ideas. Firstly I found an intriguing method of growing vines on the face of architecture, while still adding colour using hard materials. I also found that 'Tournesol Site Furnishings' offers a range of sustainable furniture for custom projects. In particular, their rooftop designs in San Francisco, Portland, Greenville and Chicago are innovative and contemporary.

Also, the planting in this advert in the magazine showcases a way to incorporate coloured shrubs in a small area effectively. This is something I may include in my work this year as I think that this will teach me how to utilise unsual shapes and spaces with planting.
