Final Planting Strategy

Much like the last idea, there are 2 separate sides with a row of red taller plants that like the two areas together. This acts as a foil for our concept and relates to Frida Kahlo's work which commonly details ribbons that join her experiences and people close to her. 

Alongside this planting, the design will feature either one mirror in the centre of the mirror alongside two frames on both ends of the raised bed. This will embody the interpretation of Kahlo's work will directly ask the viewer questions about her life and will encourage others to reflect in the same way.
